3S Autosport ECU tuning
Anyone hear of them for performance tuning? Same guys as Singh autosport in california.
Anyone on here has a tune from them? Last edited by engotski; 06-25-2011 at 01:50 PM.. |

Very curious myself, going to bump this thread. Apparently, the price is $845 which seems more than reasonable; my searches were unable to dig up a single dyno sheet or advertised claims

I actually did this for my 328i. My friend has the same car with exact same mods without the tune and my car pulled alot harder. Plus they price match other tunes. I paid $499 for mine because I asked them to price match AA. 3 free reflashes and they come to you to do the tune!

Hi, I'm trying to plan my wish list of mods for next year right now and an ECU tune is high on the list. Yes, planning for next year because the "infant car seat" mod pretty much killed all remaining budget and wifey good will for this year. :P
Anyway, I was wondering if you happen to have gotten a chance for a dyno run or compare to someone running the AA tune since you got the tune. |

Ditto.
engotski: What were your hp/torque gains again? Do you know what 3S claims? I can't figure out which one to go with. 3S' website is kinda crap, but I can let that slide :P |

They claim 20hp/19tq if I remember correctly.
I have the euro box + K&N filter/BMW PE/ 3S Auto tune. Huge difference from stock. You guys can come sit in my car for a rip or two to have a feel but my services are in PoCo or Coquitlam only ![]() DJDeez: where are you getting coding done!? I'm interested in doing a couple Last edited by engotski; 09-13-2011 at 12:06 AM.. |

Ahhhh I hate the bimmerpost app for the iPhone. I just did a review with my other mods but totally cut it off as I posted.
Anyways to sum it up you would want a better intake and a better flow exhaust to get the most out of a tune. With lots of hrs researching I found the euro box with k&n filter to be the best intake. As for exhaust, not entirely sure but can't go wrong with the BMW PE ![]() Last edited by engotski; 09-12-2011 at 11:29 PM.. |

Very curious as I have cat less mid pipes, Remus sport and afe intake and 20hp would make them sound that much better.

Was just emailing gurj, the Canadian rep for 3S Auto, and he gave me a dyno sheet for 07 328xi with 22hp/28tq gains! Will post it later.
I've asked for a dyno sheet for 328i gains and he's asking the head hancho, Jags of Singh Auto. Hopefully they're able to provide and get a sheet for us rwds |

![]() On a somewhat related note, an intake is on the list and I am leaning towards a Euro box w/K&N but not sure how much of a real diff that would be versus a stock box with K&N and charcoal delete. The BMW PE is REALLY appealing to me but I'm just curious if there is noticeable droning with it after the break-in. I like exhaust noise when I hammer it but when I just want to cruise and chill I don't necessarily want a drone. Btw, thanks a lot for the info. |

The tuned xi didnt have any mods. Euro box uses a cone type filter which is better than a panel flat filter that a stock air box uses. BMW PE is quality with zero drone. Very subtle on cruising but definitely there on WOT. After 5k I love every minute of pop and gurgle
