well it`s approaching service time again, but this time no warranty. anyone know of a good independent in greater manchester? i`ve heard of north west bm, anyone any experience of these guys, bolton i think. thanks

My service book indicates that the car had been serviced by Darren Woods twice by the previous owner so can't have been too bad

+ 1 Darren Woods are one of the best BMW indys in the UK let alone Manchester. Ex main dealer head tech, knows the n54 inside out very reasonable rates and top blokes to boot.

Mines going in to them next week, engine out job for a new head gasket. Having the whole head rebuild seals, valve stems etc etc & a complete decarb port n polish ready for the Evolve stage 3.

I've use them for nearly 2 years and as long as I own a BM it's the only place I'll go. Dont do courtesy cars unfortunately.
