M105 then IP?

I was thinking of getting 105 and then using IP.

Would these two work together? Or should I get 105 and 205?

My car is jet black.

105 is a last resort on jet blacks...its pretty aggressive for the softer paint.

try IP on an orange pad, followed by 85rd on a white/black pad. You may find yourself satisfied after that combo.

I wouldnt even bother trying to get 205 to finish down well enough on jet black. The non-diminishing abrasives in it will leave the finish slightly hazy. 85rd would be a better polish to finish down on jet black.

+1 I had to finish down with the 85Rd on my Jet black car also. Nothing else could finish down properly.

What about the DA system, would the D301 finish down well enough?
