BMW Performance carbon mirror caps and front grille black

Hi, from one of BMW shops in Toronto, I just got a package deal for rims, mirror caps, and grilles. Because my car is only few months old, I don't feel like to change mirror caps and grilles. So just picked them up in new boxes.

I am selling at the price I got minus rims price. If you guys don't feel like it's a deal, just tell me. - I don't want to offend guys who know better deals. Then I'd better keep it for refreshment for later. Or if you have some fun stuff for bimmer, exchange is possible.

Part numbers for mirror caps:
51 71 2 146 911
51 71 2 146 912
SOLD

Part numbers for grilles:
51 16 2 146 651
51 16 2 146 652
$59.95 x2 +tax = $135

Local only.

What year are the mirror caps for? I assume 2010+ since the redesign based on your sig? Please confirm.

I believe those will fit to e90 LCI, for mine is 2011 328.

You may check the part numbers for your car using bmw website:

That price for the mirror caps is almost more than the dealers price. And much more than what Mike from Marenello BMW can get E90 post members!

How much do you expect to get for these? I am interested but it would have to be less than that....

I guess everybody gets different deals. Last weekend, I happened to visit Parkview and Marenello. Marenello price was

Mirrors: MSRP $926.50, Special Price: $640.50 + tax
Grilles: MSRP $210,50, Special Price: $182.50 + tax

This time, I already paid it. But next time, could you refer me to him to get a better deal? I guess I have more things to buy for this summer.

It is a good price, but it is also what is posted on the Parkview BMW site. So others looking for the same price can jump on the bandwagon at Parkview.

That's my point. That's why I listed the exact price, and posted for some people who only want one item out of 1 package.

Definitely not trashing the thread, but is there a reason someone would pay 5x the price for "OEM" mirror covers? Is there really a difference

To clarify, the OEM CF mirrors he has for sale don't just slip over the existing mirror covers, it actually replaces it. They are considerably thicker and have perfect fitment.

Any other "cheaper" types are usually just a slip over version and are very, VERY thin CF. I havn't seen these in person so I cannot account for the quality or fitment. So you do get a little more for your $ with the OEM, whether that is worth it for you is another question.

I see. I think the full replacement "replicas" are $350ish so the OEM price is a bit better in that case.

I could really use the weight savings and added strength of Carbon Fibre Mirror Caps.
Worth the $600 ALL. DAY. LONG.

Excellent value.
