Hi guys. It seems to me that one of the biggest problems with phone compatibility is the lack of information about bluetooth support in the E90.

If BMW have implemented the 'handsfree' and 'sync' profiles, then if you have a phone with the same they should be able to:
- Pair
- Operate handsfree
- Exchange phonebook details
- Identify caller ID
- etc

Phone manufacturers are increasingly providing these details, and also providing updates for their firmware to better support bluetooth. Our friends at BMW seem to be taking a closed shop approach however ...

If the BMW folks are reading, please make a greater effort to provide accurate info on what Bluetooth profiles are supported, and to what extent those profiles are implemented i.e. half arsed ... or fully arsed
