Well, the need need need wasn't more than the cold weather package for me. I want want wanted the premium, M-sport, navi, upgraded speakers, bmw assist, satellite radio, comfort access. So, pretty much everything.

I have everything but the convenience access thing. I actually have to put my key in before pressing the button. It hasn't been a big deal for me.
Some of the options I like are Logic 7 sound system and the rear fold down seats. I've used my fold downs quite a bit in the last 4 months. Usually Home Depot crap. The logic 7 sounds much better and has better bass. If the car has speakers in the rear doors, it has logic 7. The Nav is great, but not worth the money to some. Premium pkg is a must have - leather, home link buttons cold weather pkg is useless in Texas Sport pkg is a MUST. Get the cheapest wheels you can from the dealer and upgrade to some VMR's after you buy it. Good luck!

sport package for the seats. cold weather for the fold down rear and heated seats.
i enjoy the logic7 but if you're really into audio i'd upgrade later rather than pay the price up front. i love the comfort access, but i could live w/o it. |

If I could do it again, I would have got sport and premium. Cold Weather was a must. Navi was overpriced IMO.

I got:
ZPP ZSP ZCW i-Drive Logic 7 was already standard at the time (i'm not an audiophile but i think it's great). Although I didn't get the comfort access. I just wish the M-tech package was available at the time. And yes, the above packages were an absolute necessity for me.

Sport for seats, Shadowline trim, Sports steering wheel (thicker)
iDrive Cold package is up to you if you feel you will need to fold down the rear seats.... or just buy that as an added option. Most of all if you plan on modding, get a 335 not a 328 or you might regret it. |
