OK, I searched the form. I can find a wealth of information on the PC and several recommendations on pads. I have also looked at every website I can find that sells the PC and they all recommend different pads.

My question is "what's wrong with the manufacturer's pad that comes with the PC"? I plan on using it for light swirl removal with light compound or glaze. I like waxing by hand. Any comments on the manufacture's pad? Thanks

Cobra makes some good pads and they are already centered so there pretty idiot proof. The there is Lake County pads. They are good as well, but velcro on and you have to center them yourself. Its not that bad you just have to be carefull when removing them so you don't rip the velcro off.

There's nothing "wrong" with the manufacturer's pads but it's just like micro fiber towls. There are still different grades of quality. If you want to cut corners and get cheaper pads expect not as good results as you would get from the better pads. Some pads just work better or last longer then others, it's all personal preference.
