My car is waiting to leave Bremerhaven, where will it be shipped to in the US if I am getting it from a Houston dealer. I see that they come into Galveston, is that were it's headed?

Oh yeah, this is my first post here. I have the following on order: 335i Sedan, Jet Black with Black Interior, Aluminum Trim, 6MT, Sports Package, and the wait is killing me!!

I dropped off my 335i on European Delivery last week and it will be coming into New York (the same ship starts in Bremerhaven and works its way with stops to the UK before it gets to New York). Not sure if there is a difference for Houston but since we are not far apart, I would be surprised. It may also be a question of vessel schedule timing.

I believe that I have seen in the past that cars bound for Texas come in to Charleston, SC and are processed through the Spartanburg VPC before being shipped to dealers.

I believe that there are only 3 VPC's for the US: New Jersey, SC and (for the West Coast) Port Hueneme/Oxnard, CA.

you are correct, Charleston S.C-railed to VPC, then trucked to your dealer. I'd say about a week...maybe slightly more from port to dealer in Houston.

You are correct, I got confirmation that mine will be going to Charleston.

That is odd. My HARMS paperwork and the WW site show me coming into New York. Maybe it is a sailing schedule thing (FREEDOM)? My car is jumping on in Zeebrugge but the vessel starts in Bremerhaven and also transits through Antwerp and Southampton so I assume it would have the chance to get more bimmers in those locals also. My Port of Destination on my original paperwork from Nice and what is on the WW site lists it as New York (Assume the Jersey VPC). The vessel does continue to Baltimore, Charleston and Georgia, but I am not listed to get off in SC.

It will be interesting to see if I go another way for some reason. Currently listed as "Received at Terminal" yesterday so I will see soon. We will see which is faster if we take different routes!

I believe all right-coast destination ED cars get processed through NY/NJ for some reason. They don't use Charleston for ED cars.

I plan on doing a ED with PDC and am in Atlanta. Would this still mean that the car would go the NY first?
