nope... just when they hit 88 they go thru time... i'm sure bmw could go through time a lot faster... but it couldn't run on garbage, it'd have to use the plutonium fuel source... gotta have only the high performance fuel, know what i mean?

they were somewhat fast back in the day... only they had a polished stainless steel body that made them heavy... now days i see it a common practice for people who have a delorean have made custom CF or Fiberglass bodies to recuce the 600lbs of unnecessary weight... (they're not worth anything as a classic or whatever, they're just rare is all... kinda like a Geo is now days)

They didn't sell very many because the owner of the delorean corp. was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking. He was later found not guilty but his company had already so hard off the stock market he we would never recover... there's rumors floating around about a possible buy-out of the patents and copyrights of the name and designs from forever ago and "Car and Driver" even had an article about a possibility of a concept specifically for the autobahn... **shrugs** we will never know the truth till it's out there i suppose... <__<

Do you like the OE system?

Oh and when you went past 160 what happened lol, did the needle just stop or did it keep going? If so how far can it go before it stops/breaks lol?
the AA tune is more popular, because AA is a larger company with a much broader reach and reps, but - the OE tuning software yields the most HP within the US as a tune. It also has a sharper throttle response, so there is no need to keep running a powerbox in tandem with the OE software, like some do with the AA tune. I can set up a flash for you if you want to go the OE Tuning route.

I love the OE software, been running it for a couple years now

Past 160, the freeway goes by very fast. Small inputs do big things, so it is scary changing lanes and hitting the road braille at those speeds, but the car never felt "floaty" but i can also tell it was never mean to sustain those speeds for a long time.

* I do not condone speeding or driving recklessly on public roads*
