Clearing ECU fault code for warranty?

tried the bms power box and decide to return it.

I am wondering it threw a few warning light on when i got it in and do I need to get the code cleared before my next dealer visit?

I saw some post that the newer ecu will detect the piggy back device and will void your warranty once dealer reads the hidden code.....

what kind of codes? are they still showing up? Basic codes are easy to clear, where are you located in SoCal?

all the light are gone now once i removed the box.

im just wondering if any hidden data in the ECU will allow dealer to discover i had this device on before.

yes im in socal near Chino Hills, any one has Bavarian scanner cable? also looking to get some coding done.

here is some info i found, maybe im just being paranoid
