Hard jerk when letting of throttle
Lmk if this is common with your car...
Slowly crawling in first gear at no more than say 1000-1500 rpm just barely feathering the throttle, then as soon as I release the throttle the car will suddenly jerk hard and slows down drastically. FYI previous owner had meth installed on this car and removed everything except for the nozzle and hose attached to the chargepipe. The hose is quite long n runs all the way back to the trunk but it has been plugged. Would this have anything to do with the the issue above? |

Yes. If it is the stock chargepipe with drilled hole, you may also have to get a new one or an aftermarket pipe, if you dont plan to mod the car.
But what you describing also sounds like a HPFP thats finished.

Yes it's been drilled into the stock chargepipe. I'll try Replacing it with a new pipe or maybe even upgrade to one with a bov! I'll post back with the results....
I don't think it's the hpfp according to the YouTube clips I just watched. That looks down right scary! Hope that doesn't happen to me! |

Is your car a manual? A manual transmission won't be as smooth as an automatic, especially in lower gears, since there is no torque converter to absorb shocks.
