yeah, i just bought it at target for $35...

first impression poor.

the spray nozzle only rinses with a single narrow stream.
the soap option doesnt appear to apply enough soap.

the final spotless rinse mode is unable to judge... it just say use until the other rinse water is gone.

i ended up towel drying my car ... one thing i did believe is the few remaining drips down the car didnt remain due to the final step in the rinse process. so i guess it does work... but how the hell are you gonna judge it. when a cartridge costs $6 and i use it up during 1 wash... (and take 15 minutes doing the final rinse) is it worth it ? not for me.

I too was going to buy a set last year, but didn't after two friends who each owned a set told me that it's not worth it.

I use it but I don't expect as much out of it. I put in Meguire's car wash soap and dry my own car with ww microfiber. Basically I use it so I'm not using buckets. I use two mits one for top one for bottom so essentially it's two bucket method but I never put the dirt back in the bucket and then back on the car.

The cheap way to get spotless result is to dry the car as quick as possible (using proper drying towel such as the Meguiars Water Magnet) in dry and windy weather, also avoid works under direct sunlight. Would like to know if anyone has tried the hard water softener device?

I dont buy that "spotless, filtered water" crap from these hose attachble products. So I bought a whirlpool water purification/softening system, they're used to purify water for entire houses, its all electronic and stuff and its HUGE, its like 4 feet tall and heavy as hell.....but i retro fitted mine with a hose in from the faucet and a hose out to use with car. The flow rate is HIGH, just like a regular hose, except its being hardcore filtered. It ended up costing around $500, call me crazy but I think its worth it.

I would return it - all the Pep Boys around here have that product on their clearance table for a reason! I wouldn't be suprised if it ended up discontinued (or already is)

I love it. It is fast and works perfectly for me, and the car dries completely and without any waterspots at all. I notice the biggest difference on the windshield- it doesn't leave the same thin film that most other products leave beind. Meguiars is one of the biggest offenders of the leave-behind film in my opinion.

I get a good 8-10 washes out of a filter, but that probably depends more on the quality of your water. It puts out plenty of soap- how much soap do you think you need to clean a car?? And, finally, if you think it only sprays a single jet to rinse, you either don't have the pro series, or you have it on the "jet rinse" setting instead of the regular rinse.

Will it replace a good, thorough, detailing? No. But does it do a good job for a quick wash? Absolutely.

what i like to do is take large MF towel and basically pull the water away. i would throw the towel over and then pull. i never constantly wipe that is bad.

dude, this is a long thread about a pos. that mr clean thing is pretty crappy. however, I only paid $9 for mine at sams, lol.
the best part is if you have hard water it does work to rinse the car, but its like painting the car and takes longer then if you just dry the thing in the first place.
take it back.
