Just bought Agency Power downpipes, looking for help
Hey everyone,
I just bought a set of lightly used AP downpipes for my 335, and I spoke to someone who was telling me that something i almost definitely should do is buy the AR design gaskets since the stock ones could leak. Does anyone know anything about this, and if so which ones would I buy? Thanks

It all depends on your milage, since you have 2007 your stock gaskets might not be up to par. It's better to be safe than have to reinstall your DP's because you have a leak. They're like 30 bucks I believe for the gaskets and bolts from AR. Also I see you have an xi, I dont believe Agency power made DP's for an xi. You might want to check into that before installing because DP's are different between the i and xi.

With previous experience in the past, you should always use new gaskets with downpipes, headers, or other exhaust parts.

AR Bomb Proof gaskets are cheap and you should never re-use gaskets unless they are pretty much new - they usually de-laminate when you take them apart anyway.

When removing anything with a gasket, its best to install it back with a new gasket. You can shoot me a PM and we can get you a set of ar gaskets sent over after the holiday weekend. Mike |
