who has an xi with 19" staggered wheels?

I have a 330xi and i wanted the Velocity 19" CSL reps in 8.5" and 9.5" in the rear. Can i do this to my XI? what about the Tire Pressure Sensors?

WILL THE STAGGER KILL MY AWD?

there are about 3-4 threads on this already.

You need tires that have the exact same rolling diameter ( or overall diameter). get 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 . those have the same diameter.

Tirerack has all the detailed specs on the tires.

little off topic

i am getting a 335 xi and wanted to put the m6 replica rims on

the rears com in a 19 x 9.5 x 40 mm or 19 x 19.5 x 30

i assume i need the 40 mm offset if i have to run a 275

why a 275 and not a 265? what can happen or will happen if i run a 265

There will be a 1% difference in tire size between front tires and rear tires. This can kill the diff. If you use 275 tires, there will be less than 0.1% difference in diameter.

On the XI, going staggered really don't give you much performance gain, but it's really up to you whether you want to do it or not. It is mostly for looks. I ordered a set of OZ Ultraleggera non-staggered today.

with this setup, wont your rear tires be pushed in way too much?

are you getting different offsets for the front / rear or spacers

I'd have to decide if I want to run a 5mm spacers when I see the wheels on the car. They are both ET35 offset so it should look ok. You can get a feeling of how the car is going to look by this post (it's a set of BBS CK 19X8.5 ET35 offset)
