2012 pricing question...........
Hi Guys/Gals!
What would you consider a fair price to pay for a loaded up 2012 Coupe? THe sticker would end up around $56k and I would like to get your advice on what is a fair deal. The dealer that we bought our X5 at said that he'd give us $2k off, but of course I'd want a better deal than that, if possible. What are some good dealerships to deal with in Illinois? Thanks! |

Go to http://www.edmunds.com/ or http://www.truecar.com/ and look it up. Once you have something to work with (invoice) try to shop around to get the best deal. I spent Months looking the right car and deal.

Thanks for the help and the advice Guys!
My dealer won't even discuss invoice up, but I haven't really pushed it yet. The best that I have gotten over the phone is $2300 off MSRP and a set of floor mats. I found a nice used 2011 M3 loaded up, with 9k mileage for a few grand over the new 335i that we were thinking about ordering, so that's always an option too. Those 4 liter V8's really purr, especially when connected to that Bad Boy DCT transmissions! ![]() I kind of thought about waiting until they got some 12's on the lot. They might be more willing to deal if they had one in stock that they want to move. They kind of have you if you order one because they know that you want it. My first rule of negotiating is that you have to be willing to walk away! Thanks again! |
