I'm not sure what this means. Can you elaborate?

This^^^ Without a feature to do this, you have to do a pull to get the bubbles out. With the PWM kit, this just forces the failsafe to toggle between maps 1 and 2 for a few seconds before the bubbles all get flushed out. Wouldn't want to be doing purge pulls without the integrated failsafe, thats for sure

Well the Vishnu meth system apparently only works with the PROcede tune currently and doesn't accept any other tunes,

so if I where to get their PWM meth kit I would be tieing myself into the PROcede, where as others such as Aquamist HFS-3/ or Snow, yes are a bit more fiddly but you have the advantage of using any tuner by my understanding.

I'd be in for whatever meth failsafe Terry comes up with though. Think a lot of us would!
I'm sure it does but it's convenient to have have the gauges/shift light in dash and always on when you get on the gas. Doing the methanol as a progressive instead of a failsafe might also be beneficial. I'm not sure those features alone justify the $479 JB4 price if you are not using the JB4 for the primary tuning as well but if you happen to already have one or find value in those features its still very useful. Compared to other tuning systems which would become paperweights when coupled with a flash tune.

I have a SP kit in which I set it up for Procede, but your right I can also go with a JB tune or Cobb flash in the future...I am not sure to this date which is better but its always wise to go with a system that the tuner uses or be left sitting in the dark with no support, but as of right now you can still get any kit and still have it work with a Procede or JB tune...Shiv stated that he will not discontinue support for PPS meth kit users, and JB utilizes PPS meth kits and I dont think they are changing their direction in terms of PWM

I understood that it uses the Procede as the controller. Your statement said that you couldn't use any other maps unless Vishnu did further development. I was wondering if you miss spoke or if I missed something. Thanks for the response.

Mike
You know the Cobb ap has a shift light too right lol

But yes the jb4 and BMS play nice with flash tunes.

I think he meant tune, not maps.
