Confirm TPM sensors won't effect 06 E90
I just ordered a set of new 19" wheels and tires which I will run on my 2006 E90 330i until my 08 E92 335i coupe comes in a few months from now. I will then transfer the wheels and tires to that car. I went ahead and am having the required TPM sensors for the E92 installed so that i don't have to dismount and remount tires and rebalance before using on the E92 (saves hassle and some $). So in the interim I will have wheels and tires on my 06 E90 with TPM sensors. I cannot think of any reason why this would cause any problem whatsoever, but just wanted to see if anyone has done this or could see a flaw in that move.

yours uses the wheels speed sensors.
e92 has a wireless sensor on the bottom of the car to detect pressure from the sensors on each wheel.

Yep, you won't have any problems as said above, the older E90's use the wheel speed sensors to detect pressure loss.
Mount'em up and run'em

Thanks all, that is what i needed to hear, especially from someone doing it. I knew the systems are completely different, I just had this thing in the back of my mind that the new sensors *might* interfere with some other 06 e90 system, possibly changed on 07's due to the sensors - Murphy's Law you know - although I seriously didn't think that would be the case, I just wanted to be sure.
