One angel eye ring is dim compared to the other three

I got some MTEC V3 LED angel eyes installed on my car a few weeks back but since then, I noticed that the one on the far left in the picture is not as bright as the other three.

When I look at where the light eminates from (bottom of the headlight), there doesn't seem to be much light coming out from the fixture on the left as compared to the right.

I'm certain that it's not an issue with the bulbs but the bulb be wedged in too tight? What else could be the cause?

May be a defective led. Had this problem on my V2s.

OP, your post is dated back to July. Did you solved the issue on your own or did you return the product for a new one?

Same here; I got Lux.

I'll try to wiggle with the plastic rings that mount on the leds to see if it does it any good.

Maybe they didnt got in the socket perfectly.

Even though I tried reinstalling my Mtecs a few times, I will give this a shot. I ordered some foglight bulbs along with these and the fogs came in slightly damaged... I'm starting to wonder if rough handling is the culprit. Strange because Mtecs seems to be packaged really well.

I'll report back with how it goes later tonight.

Try reseating the rings them selves.

They are clipped in. Hitting a pothole hard enough may unclip them.

When you take out the bulb, you'll see 2 rods. Make sure they are lined up, horizontally to each other.

Nothing like some angel eyes to make you feel worthless with a wrench. I swapped the bulbs from left to right and I finally got some consistency.

The two inner rings are brighter than the two outer, but they do match up and even provide a little depth of field effect I guess . I have a service day coming up soon, so maybe I can convince them to give it a once over and make sure it's proper. Still waiting on my jack, so getting a good look at the 2 rods wasn't an option last night.

I thought all of them were like that - isn't the bulb housing actually located in the inner rings, and the outer rings just share the light?

No there are 2 rods that LEDs shine light through. 1 LED per rod.

Either the rods aren't aligned, not optically clear (melted), or the units are defective.
