2 weeks since I upgraded to my new audio gear and it’s going well – I love the improvement and I love to turn the volume up now! I recently paid a visit to a guy locally based who is entering EMMA next year and is at the top of his game. He has kindly offered to help me tune the Audison Bit One.1 which I cannot be more grateful for
![]() He has everything that is needed to get the job done, RTAs and all sorts. I was completely gobsmacked when he showed me his project car which has been on going for a few years - I've never seen a perfectionist like him - keeping it really low-key at the mo. as I don't want to reveal any info but all I can say is, My God! ![]() Anyways, I’ll be visiting him again to get the bit.one tuned again and really try to nail it – really wish I put a centre chn speaker now but oh well (props to B33M3R on this ![]() Phase 2 is the boot install – Does anybody have custom made enclosures for E90 boot that they’re looking to hand over? Single or Double. Ideally, a complete closure that stretches from one end to the other – i.e. stealth? I would like to keep everything JL (given my 4 chn JL amp and plans to buy a JL mono block) but understand with that, comes a hefty price tag – I do have 2 x 10” Infinity subs from my previous set up – should I use those and if so, will I be compromising on sound? Are there any Good quality, reasonably price JL subs? What is the difference between the ‘W’ series and the ones with huge JL written across the subs? Cheers ![]() |

Mega is the man you should be talking to; he had an awesome set up in his motor, which I believe is/was being returned to standard, so he may have a bundle of gear for sale...

Looking forward to seeing it happen, but IMHO you probably won't hear any difference between the subs. If you've got a decent amp, as long as they're not complete budget specials, they'll be fine.
Are you planning to port it through the ski hatch? Do you even haved a ski hatch? ![]()

Sam, already replied to your SMS. Give me a call later. You can take my sub box. I don't want much for it really. Maybe 10-15% of what I paid for it. And Andy can fit it for you. Infact it's at his house at the moment so that works well ![]() You could either take the back panel with the sub cut outs, or what would suit your needs more most likely is to screw the amp sub to the LHS of the box which would leave you with MUCH more boot space albeit slightly cluttered if you don't do any trimming at all. The box is about 8 inches less wide than the boot on both side and sits centered in the boot. By the way, you could even take my entire boot trim, the two side panels and fans for cooling etc. You've seen the pics. It's still in very good condition. But you'd probably not want the bottom piece as it's designed for amps I'm not selling. I'm flexible. Again, call me later. ![]() Dave

By the way again, as my car is now going with the LCI lights fitted (Sorry bud) I now also have a spare set of E90 non-LCI xenons. Teddy from SSDD Motorsport has had some success with baking these lights open and fitting LED angel eye rings. If you want the lights to 'experiment with' then let me know.

Oh. All JL subs are "W something". The V1s have the JL writing. The V2s (non W7) mostly don't (I think the W0 still does). And the V3 W3s, W6 and the V2 W7 are all the plain black one with the small elegant W7 logo at the bottom. Very classy.
![]() My W7 is not for sale though, sorry ![]()
