These spacers are from VP_Electricity. Shipping to Canada is not a problem for a small surcharge.

Sorry can you let me know the difference between the 8 and 8xi? Is it only for an XI model? Can't see the difference on their site unless I'm blind.

Edit: Nevermind. XI is 2 ohm X is 4 ohm

i have the spacers and have been looking into buying the subs. what are the differences in the 2 ohm and 4 ohm versions? which one is better? i have the idrive with logic 7 in my e92..

I am by no means an expert, but my understanding is that the 2 ohm version gives you a little more power due to the lower impedance.

how is the quality of the bass with this upgrade? Does the stock amp push enough power to it, is it clearly better than Logic7 OEM?

I don't know what the ohms are on the OEM speakers but if the amp isn't pushing 2 ohms your not going to notice a great increase from putting in a 2ohm speaker. your speaker will be under powered. not sure what the ohms are on the stock subs and amp though.

In tried it with just the factory amp and noticed a slight performance increase. I purchased the Technic harness with a Rockford amp that fit perfect hidden under the trunk liner. All I can say is there was a huge difference. People thought I had a sub box in the trunk. I'm not a bass junky so to some it might not be enough but it's 1000% better than stock when you add an amp ( a good quality amp).
