Need help with rims/ideas please!!

In order for me to put 18" CSL rims or M6 replicas on my e90, would i have to drop my car, and if i do, would it be a significantly big drop?

uhhhhhh...............Why would you have to drop your car to put new wheels on? Sooooo no you dont have to drop anything , except for some cash, to put wheels on.

put the new wheels on and drop the car til the tire rubs.

If your car has the sport package you dont need a drop with 18s; they will look fine. However if you're gonna go with 19s you will need a drop or else it'll look like a 4x4. The drop doesnt have to be significant. An inch drop will suffice.
