All I know is I didn't do it lol but I just noticed it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove this scuff? It's only on the surface so I'm assuming/hoping there's a solution.

agree with the rag.
i'd actually maybe even get some rubbing compound. Have you tried maybe Meguiar's PlastX? It works real well with areas like that. Get some of it and really put some elbow grease on there. afterwards wipe off and use 303 to make it shine again. |

That area of the seat has a matte, slightly textured surface. You cant use anything abrasive or you'll end up with a shiny spot. It'll come off with soap and water (maybe a bit of simple green) but don't use anything abrasive. If it doesn't come off easily then post back here. I've got some other thoughts. |

The PlastX shouldn't make it shiny but I agree it might discolor a little. That being said, use 303 to bring that back. It's not going to be perfect again but it'll look better than it does now. For the texturing, that might have to be a sacrifice for the look. Depends on what you want done OP. If you just want the scuff to look black again, do what ceb said. If the shiny spot is way too noticeable, hand polishing may do the trick. |

Ok guys nothing worked it's just to deep of a scuff, I'm just going to buy a new piece. Looked it up on realoem and the part is like $12.00, can't beat that. After install I'll just have everyone, myself included sit like a yogi and levitate into the seats
