Thumbs up Review: E92-Lighting 24 LED Dome Replacement

Derrick sent me some replacement LED bulbs to evaluate that are a full replacement for the front and rear domes. There are replacements for the center bulbs and the map lights.

Installation was fairly simple for both the front and rear (front is a little more difficult than the rear, as you have to pull down the front liner to get to the releases for the front dome cover). Make sure to remove the transluscent cover over the lights, as well (the one up front).

For the map lights, it's as easy as turning the white actuator caps (one 90 degree twist) and pulling the old bulbs out, placing the new ones in, and reinserting where they were before, and twisting back in (the white pieces are what provide the power). For the dome light, you do the same thing, except after removing the old dome light, you put the actuator back in and twist it, then place the new dome in the hole and push it in until it connects.

The luminescent difference is instantly noticeable. If you want brighter domes and map lights in your car, this kit will not disappoint. The whole process took maybe 10 minutes, and is well worth the swap.

you didn't have to pull down the liner to get to the dome lights in front. If you pull off the translucent cover, you can just pull out the old bulb from there. The get to the map lights, you just pull of the black shrouds/housings for those and they become easily accessible as well... actually takes less time and a lot easier to reverse polarity if need be...

Trying to reach in and access the map lights that way isn't easy, and risks bending the pins on the actuator. From my perspective, I thought it better to come in from behind.
