Any ideas how to get road paint off.
A truck dropped a couple buckets of road paint on the on-ramp and I try to miss as much as I could. Got into some and it's all up in the wheel well and paint. Any idea how I can get this off? Can it be done by hand or should I take it to someone with a buffer? Thanks

Depending on how much their is you might be best off trying a clay bar to remove most of it.

buy the automotive one!
IPA sometimes works if fresh enough, clay works if fresh-ish, mineral spirit wipe down will soften it up, but dont soak the paint with it. Plastic razor blades with tarminator if soft enough, sanding it all off, polishing doesnt really work |

Thanks for the ideas. I've tried Stoners bug and tar remover with minimal results. Will try some goo gone. I tried to post pics, but having trouble for some reason. Will keep trying. Thanks again for helping the newbie.

I had tar on the bottom of my e90 caked on and i tried everything. I bought this stuff called FW1 Wash & Wax and it took it right off with no damage.
