foam cannon help!

SO! I spent a very pretty penny on detailing products, one of which is the karcher electric pressure washer and the cam spray 527100 foam cannon.

So to keep it simple, I order the Karcher Adapter A and Coupler, Twist 22x22 for the cannon setup from pressureparts.com on October 19th. The parts cost $8.95 and $6.50 respectively coming out to a total of $15.45. They must weigh no more than 3lbs at most...and yet it's going to cost $8.99 flat rate for shipping. I find it ridiculous the damn shipping cost is higher than the most expensive merchandise I am purchasing....
Whatever, I order them anyway because all my other parts are arriving soon and I just want my damn foam cannon!!!
I receive a confirmation email, fantastic.

A business day passes, a couple, a few, and no tracking number..HMMM?

So I call this morning only to find myself calling several different times trying to speak with a customer rep who recognizes my effing order! And with every rep I got, they are unfamiliar with my confirmation order #??? WTF! After about 30minutes of repeating my information, zip code, name, order number, product sku number, a lady who doesn't even introduce me her name struggles and finds my order, puts me on hold, asks if she can call me back at a later time, returns my phone call and tells me they just got a "new" system that caused my order to get lost....which they ended up finding? okay... that's bs. Then she has the nerves to tell me it will ship out in 48 hours.
I tell them it's almost been 5 business days and there has got to be a way for you guys to expedise my order. This is your mistake and I cannot wait for it to ship out 2 days from now when I've already waited a week.
Simple response, "we can't."

Being in customer service, I can't take this kind of treatment and I refuse to do business with them. Now my question is who other than pressureparts.com sells these pieces to complete my karcher + foam cannon setup? any local store?? I'm about to say to hell with this foam cannon!!

While it's less than ideal that they made a mistake, mistakes do happen, it looks like they are shipping it out and you'll have it soon. Kind of seems like you're over reacting just a bit. In the grand scheme of things it's just a foam cannon so it's not that time sensitive. The shipping is totally reasonable, that's very much in line with base shipping costs pretty much everyone charges.

Just wait a couple days it'll be in your hands and life will be good.

+1. Overreacting just a tad bit. The local hardware stores can have the parts for you to create a makeshift adapter though.

ARRRRRRG!!! i guess i'm just super annoyed. i had 4 different orders all lined up to arrive within the next 3 days. Got a day off from work on the 29th to have a little detailing session with a couple buddies. Now i gotta call it off because i don't have the foam cannon ready. i might be overreacting but they could have handled it better, nobody was apologetic and one guy even hung up the phone because he didn't want to deal with my order. blame it on the monday

You can still detail your car. You just won't have the fun you're hoping for with the foam cannon. I don't mean to rub it in, but I just got my foam cannon set up, and trust me, it's worth the wait.

P.S. - check this thread for the homemade makeshift adapters, Finally, foam cannon is working!

I understand on the planning, i've been in the same boat planned out a day to try a new wax and it got delayed. Post up pics of your ride once it's all shiny though.
