Well lets see, there is a guy I have raced multiple times and he is running JB4 on Map 5 that either peaks 14.5 psi or is running at 14.5 psi when he races me. He has had it from since when JB4 was first released. He reports no problems and he is bone stock.

Edit: To add, when I was first introduced to BMW tuning I had a friend from Miami who had a e90 2007 335i running JB3 on map 7 bone stock. The only thing he had was DCI.

WAY too aggressive. 13.5 is what you should be running...

You're fine. Do some datalogs to confirm, but you really aren't running excessive boost and the drop-in is more than enough for what you need. But like i said, datalog to be sure.

It's a little high, but as long as it tapers well in the high RPM band its okay. I would get some exhaust mods on there to open the engine up a bit and go for a proper Intake (DCI or equivalent)

Like mentioned above lets see your boost and timing curve so we can offer more car specific advice.

Depends where you see 14.7. 14.7 is not at all a big deal before 5000 RPM. If it was at redline then I would say something is not right.

Typical Stage 1 Cobb runes 14-15 PSI in the mid-range tapering to 12-13 PSI by redline.

Without logs your question is too broad.

Just a mild boost spike between shifts. Looks like an auto the ecu closed the throttle plate to regulate boost during the shift. The boost levels in your datalog look normal for a sport map with cool ambient temps.

Boost is only a part of the story of tuning...

Boost looks fine in the datalog, you should be able to run aggressive on your setup pretty easily.

You're fine. Perfectly safe boost level down low. I used to run about 14.5 psi or so autotuned back in the day when I was stock.

Not necessary for COBB Stage 2+. In fact, running off the shelf COBB maps with meth makes the car run worse.
