In the thread you stated there is excellent tire life but I remember in PM's you stating the rear tires may be bald.. its not worth it for me to drive down to check them out if that is the case.. let me now ty

read my pm again. I said one of rear tire maybe need to replace soon it doesn't mean the tire is bold. it was meant to compare to the other rear tire i just replaced with Invo that previously got nailed. however, tires are consumption and have to replace anyways

Picked these up from Ivan today. Overall a decent buy, I wouldnt say great because the pictures dont show the knick in the rear wheel and slight curbage on a front wheel.
I also can see why he didnt want to take pictures of the tread. One rear wheel is almost completely bald, if you want to argue that I can take pictures of the metal starting to show on the inside of the tires. The other 3 are good, the Nitto Invo is basically new, so thats also good. He gave me a good price, but this was before seeing the wheels in person. Once I saw the knick in the rear wheel I asked to have a bit knocked off but of course he wouldn't do it. All in all, I am pretty happy with the purchase but I wished that I knew that I would be replacing a tire soon so I can factor that into the total cost. |
