Question on wet sanding bumper after paint job

I just had my rear bumper painted by a shop, and i was told they don't wet sand the clear. Is this common for a repair job?

Also sorry if this is in the wrong spot, didn't see any spots for paint and body work.

The finish is good. The body shop said it's so it matches the factory orange peel

Theirs not necessarily a problem I was just curious if thats some thing thats normally done.

A good bodyshop will "match" the orange peel of the original finish. Wetsanding that would ruin that effect.
