Considering Paint Correction Before Winter

I started a thread in the main forum area about whether I should get a paint correction done now, or wait until the spring.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1#post10709979

I already got some good local knowledge from a member in VA, but figured I'd post here to see if I can catch some more local detailers. Any input is appreciated!

Ah, I didn't even notice where you posted it. I thought we were already in the mid-atlantic section since you mentioned DC Metro detailers. Anyway, you'll get more feedback here, and the detailers I mentioned will probably chime in.

I would definitely do one in my opinion before the winter and during the spring. I know some local people that do great work if your interested.

IMO you have the greatest probability of introducing swirls in the winter. A) Your car will most likely be dirtier in the winter since you are less likely to wash it as often and B) They tend to lay a lot of salt and sand on the roads when it snows which will collect on your car. Since paint correction isn't cheap I'd save it for the spring. What you might want to so instead is get it wash/clayed/sealed.
