Wheel polisher recommendation?
Update: So i just use the cyba air scoop for testing and turns out pretty good.
use some paint stripper to "eat" the paint and use eagle one never dull to polish, i just rub them with my hand for 1 minute and turns out pretty good. Has some fine scratch cause some residual of paint rubbing against the metal. ![]() Decide to refinish my wheel lip, which is currently painted black. Gonna apply aircraft stripper which will \"eat up\" all the paint and leave bare metal surface. So which metal polisher i need to use to turn bare metal into mirror like polish finish? Get quote from local wheel repairer about $600-1000. So i am thinking to DIY. The video of using Meguiar and mother metal polisher that i have seen just restore some wheel that are not bare metal. So any rec for which polisher i should use? Last edited by qclik; 11-01-2011 at 11:42 PM.. |

I use P21S Finish Restorer. You should wait until more people and pros chime in though.

Wheel Wax or Poorboy's Wheel Sealant are my suggestions. Wouldn't put it on too thick though. As many of the high quality products go, a little goes a long way.

thanks for all rec, maybe i will just start to buy some metal polisher and try it on some bare metal before actually applying to the wheel. just dont wanna to go with some industrial metal polisher which mostly turn the metal into chrome finish.
