Rims, Tires, Car, and PSI!

Just wanted to start this thread to see what tire pressures people prefer and why. The first three items are for consideration when choosing a psi. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know:

Car is important for weight/balance (e90 vs. e92, 28 vs 35, i vs. xdrive).
Generally, larger diameter rims equal lower profile tires and require higher psi.
Tires matter in terms of profile and type (especially RFT vs non-RFT).

Currently my preference is:
e90 328XI
18x8 / 18x8.5 (F/R)
225/40 / 255/35 Conti DWS
38 / 40
Notes: I bumped up my PSI when moving away from RFT so I could maintain the "on rails" feeling. Although the higher psi, the DWS are still much more forgiving than the Bridgestone Potenzas.

Garage List
Here are my specs, which I modified since swapping out RFTs for non-RFT tires.

I used the yellow sticker on my door jamb for speeds at or above 100mph, based upon OEM tire inflation recommendations:

Vehicle: e90 335i
Rims: 18x8.5 Front, 18x9.5 Rear - 219M Gunmetal
Tires: 235/40/18 Front, 265/35/18 Rear Hankook v12 non-RFT
PSI: 39 Front, 45 Rear Cold
