I rececently bought a carbon fibre spoiler for my e92, fits very well, Not OEM but looks the part. If you find a good power seller then you can't really go wrong, buts its a huge saving on the OEM stuff

Ive had 3 from him and one from e.motors as the quality is good and the price is not out of the way.

Ive just fitted my lip spoiler from a seller in Germany. Though it does fit, the ends are not as curved as the m3 spoiler so has a sharper look on the sides. I actually dont like it so now need to get my hands on the one I want. Wish I did a bit more research now but didnt realise such a small issue makes such a big difference
Here are a few pics: |

I am not a big fan of the German one to be honest. Looks a little too 'universal' - almost like it could be cut to fit any car? Some pics of the one I fitted to my E93 for comparison..... |

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAINTED-BM...item336cd102e5 But now that im looking at it - it doesnt actually look like the M3 Lip - but a more universal one. What do you think? It doesnt seem to curve down at the ends. |

As m3-fast said, it makes a big difference. Nee, I had a look at the one on your link and I'd personally steer clear! If you dont mind the sharper cut at the ends, then it'll be OK but if you want an m3 rep, go for an actual m3 rep.
I was at BMW this afternoon and spotted this m3. Notice the way the spoiler smoothly goes in on each side? With yours, it'll just cut straight down on each side. I hope I am being clear in explaining |

Confirmation from BMW UK regarding shark fins for E93's.
"We have raised this with our contacts in Germany to be certain and they have advised that this is not a feature of a UK spec E93 3 Series, these are only fitted to US versions." |

I've fitted this and all went well but....
The bit where you bend the spoiler over has become unstuck using the standard glue and primer that came with the spoiler. Bar that its looking great. Did get a letter from Fedex for payment of £4 tax and £10 admin charge, told fedex to go shove the admin fee as I hadn't agreed to this in advance. Does anyone have any recommendation of what to use to stick down the bit of the spoiler that you need to gently bend into place?? Thanks, Quote:
