Back in August I had the BSW Stage 1 upgrade installed in my 2011 E90 - (basic audio with 6 speakers, no amp). The upgrade included new speakers in the front doors and back panel, plus tweeters in the front window sails and tweeters in the back panel. It took me awhile to adjust the levels to find that sweet spot, but I can now say that this is a big improvement over the crap speakers BMW had in there. Depending on the source (HD radio, CD, ipod) these speakers can sound quite good. I'm sure I could've spent more money and got a better system with amplifier and all, but I wanted a quick plug n' play speaker upgrade without spending too much. I'm satisfied.

Thanks for the review, I have a 2011 E92 with the base speakers and it's dying for an upgrade. I was looking at BSW and the Alpine upgrade - what made you choose BSW?
