330xi Snow Tire Options

Stock Tire Sizes: 225/40-18 & 255/35-18

My question is for the winter can I run snows (Blizzaks) on the stock wheels (8 & 9.5 x 18) of 225/40-18 front and 235/40-18 rear?

The OD is 25.4" front and 25.1" rear with respective Revs Per Mile of 831 front and 820 rear.

Will these sizes work or whack out the all wheel drive?

Finding snows for this car is a bi%ch.

NOTE: I do not want to look at cheap 17 inch wheels for half of the year as I love the look of the 18 wheels on my car. I also would like to avoid putting on run flats whether snows or summer.

For a RWD car I would have no problem recommending this but with an XI you would want to avoid mixing tires of different diameters like this. Stick with 225/40R18 on all four or go to 225/40R18 front and 255/35R18 rear.

How about the 235/40/18 on all four? I am not sure about stretching a 225 on the 9.5 rim in the rear.

If you got OEM wheels, the rears are 8.5 not 9.5, so 255/40/18 all around is not a problem.
