OEM Springs from E92

I have an issue that I need the members of this board to chime in on. I bought these springs http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=535893

Seller stated in PM that they were D3 rear and D4 front. I received the springs to replace my D5 rear and D7 front. Rear now looks great but the front did not lower at all. The fronts didn't have the stickers to verify so I was a little leary but decided to trust the poster. Really frustrating since this is my second spring install.

Can you guys chime in and let me know what spring codes you have on your E92's?

I have already tried to reconcile with seller who posts on here but he won't budge. What do you guys recommend before I file fraud complaint with paypal.

D4 front? I've never seen D4 zsp front springs.. but I do have D4 rear zsp springs from a E90 330i. D3 rears from the E92 are 1" shorter than D4's unloaded (about .5 to .7" lower once on the car).

Typically, 335i E92's automatics have D7 front and D3 rear. That's what I had a while back, and they came right off a '08 E92. Sounds like you got another pair of D7 front springs.

D4 are for 328i Std. D5 are for 328i A/T. D6 are for 335i Std and some 330i A/T had them too.. Which E92 does the seller have? Engine and transmission would define the zsp spring code. Period!!!!!

Sounds a little fishy that the seller tore off the spring code on both fronts and based on his posts (that it will fit any vehicle) he just wanted to pawn them off to anyone looking for ZSP springs.

Anyone else care to chime in about whether you think the seller should give me a refund. I offered to send him my D5/D7 sport springs for refund and he said no. It would be crazy for me to spend $400 to remove the springs to return especially when the back is fine.

I bought D6 front/D3 rear off an E92. As with you, the rear looks great. But my front dropped less than 1/4". I can see why you were looking for a D4 front.

how much does the difference in code affect the motor though ?

im having d5 in front, aftermarket shitty stuff in the back, and planning to install oem springs to the back in order to raise my car a little bit (cus i think it lowered to much). so which oem spring can raise the car in the back ? D3 or D5 ?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help here !
