Custom Fabricated Camera Headrest Mount
So I wanted to have a Central Cockpit POV and came up with this
No one sells these so I made it myself not bad for a first try. Its painted black as of now but I may have it powder coated. Just have to sort out the mounting options for my GoPro, I'd like to have a GoPro J hook on the mount. |

Not bad but it looks like it will move kind of loosely. Also looks like you have to take the headrest completely off when you want to remove it. On POTN people have used a vice clamp style to mount to the headrest, so it has a quick release as well. Basically a sandwich with the 2 pieces of wood/whatever being the bread, and the headrest legs being the meat with a twist style clamp to tighten/loosen and remove.

As someone mentioned looks a bit loose. Why not use the right angle suction mount on the passenger window? Wont be centered but at least you'll get a decent sturdy view. Plus that looks sort of dangerous if you got into an accident or something.
