Polypropylene or polyurethane

Is a polypropylene bumper better than a polyurethane bumper?

The difference between the two is the flexibility. Polypropylene, I believe, is what oem bumpers are made of but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, I believe stock bumpers are made of polypropylene. I'm looking at two bumpers that are basically the same, but one is made of polypropylene and one is made of polyurethane. The polypropylene one is like $110 more and I'm wondering if it's worth it.

You shouldn't worry if you don't intend to scrape or hit parking blocks. Even so, polyurethane is quite resilient.

It's not worth it, polyurethane can bend almost as much as polypropylene. For example our M3 bumper is made out of polyurethane and can be bent as much as the OEM bumper. The M-tech bumper we are carrying will come in polypropylene to ensure OEM quality.

Both are way better than fiberglass, so either choice will give you a good result.

I'll go contrary to what has been said. IMO it is worth it. $110 for a bumper made with the same material as factory. There is a reason BMW spent the extra cash.
