Real C/F wrapping

Has anyone ever done real carbon fiber wrapping? Not the vinyl but actually getting the cloth and mixing resin and laying it.
The reason that I even bring it up is that years ago I had an IS300 and wanted to stand out a little (bought into the whole "JDM" parts etc.. had 1 of 6 bumpers in the US)
Now since parts have difference in prices for Fiberglass vs C/F (and people look for the c/f parts) and price way deter them, I thought about doing this again.

Thoughts?

have u laid fiberglass before? if u have, it would help a lot. i tried making my own cf splitter several years ago. major fail. LOL.
