Ok i am still kind of confused but here is some scenario...
A) car fully paid off
- MV(Market Value) of the 335i $25,000
- Take over your Loan $25,000
-Total cost for S5 $50k???? and you paid $53k?

b) single digit loan left on my 335i (for example $9000 left)
- MV less loan outstanding $16,000 (25-9)
- Take over your Loan $25,000
- Total cost for S5 $41,000 seems more reasonable.

I guess the ULTIMATE question is...HOW much do you want for your S5 ignoring the loan/payment situation

thank you! even if the 335 is "faster" than an s5, i love my interior a lot more. and its more comfortable. and by far a lot sexier, this is just my opinion, not tryna stir up any arguments.

and yea i know about the 3.0 sc on the new face lifted coupes. im trying to save money right now, so im not thinking about getting into another car with payments.
i think the only thing you will notice that is a bit better is the rear seat. i have been in back of both coupes and my 335 has wayyy way wayyy more room in the back. Besides for that, your car is faster, better looking, has more quality and like someone else pointed out not really heavier. Good luck, if you need a test drive, let me know.

when i came on the forum i was thinkin sceneario A is doable, but i guess not so i proposed scenario b.

im looking more into trading first because i need a car to replace so i havent thought of it. if your really interested send me an offer and ill see what kind of car i can get with the remaining balance after it covers the loan lolol

its not an ideal ride if ur always int he city and gas is ur concern. it gets awesome highway mileage ( i get around 380 to the tank ) and the compliments and the lookers are just stunning.

if you paid 65k for your audi s5, youre in the market for a 996 911 turbo vert, 997 911 turbo with high mileage, 997 carrera4s, GT-R, e90-2 m3 vert, SO MANY CHOICES!!!...why go for 335i? unless youre trying to cut down your expense as well.

as you said, i am trying to cut down my expenses. gas is reddic and i have no use for this car when i just commute to the city and back 2 times a week rarely get to enjoy the car on the open road. i need something more fuel efficient and little to no payments. to be honest, if money wasnt an issue, i would stick with my s5, no m3, no porsche, etc. i love it.

Im telling you man, the gas isnt noticible. i get 10-11 mpg. If it were an inline 6 with no forced induction it would be different but my engine (n54) 3.0 with twin turbo and your 4.2 v8 will end up getting the same mileage in the city. If you start tuning your 335 it will be even worse. I guess if this decision is based on $ then you are right in thinking you will save some by getting rid of the 25k you owe but the gas thing wont hold up by itself.
