Alignment done: $150...

Found out that my front left strut is bent (damn you RFT and VA Potholes). Shop is saying around $850 for OEM front left strut, realignment, and labor.

Options:
1) go for it.
2) find a used sport suspension strut and install that with some help
3) coilover?

Option 2 would def be the "save money" route.

Dang dude. Option 2 and watch out for potholes. Passengers hate my "wreckless driving," but it's for a good cause. Avoiding all potholes and gutters.

Wow, I will definitely keep that in mind the next time around. It is only a matter of time before it happens again on these horrible roads here. I've already been through three bent wheels in the past three years. Luckily nothing more serious than wheel damage!

Final update... until later:

Luckily picked up a spare front strut and spring set up from an e90post member. After install and alignment, my left front is off -1.91 right now. They think it's the knuckle that's bent a bit too ($600 or so) but they said it shouldn't be too bad to drive on. I might fix it next spring if it bugs me enough.

Tomorrow, will be writing up the claims form.

I paid 200 for my front rim and I think my rear is bent too. I'll look into some cheaper options when I get back. $200 is quite a bit and i know there are people who can do it for cheaper. Let me know who you go with.

Try National wheel repair.... They handle all the large dealerships in the Dc area... Plus I believe his name is Rod Linares (703) 887-0621They did good work for me. Additionally he helped me with my estimate to get my claim with VDOT. Good luck.
