new car, welcome party: 06 330i

Just wanted to post on here my new ride and welcome myself to the forum. Finally made the switch to a BMW after, well, after I could finally afford one. She's a beauty and is in immaculate condition. Bought from a local seller who kept it as new.

2006 330i, 6MT, sport, TiAg. Love it.

Blue one is my pops.

Im also very interested in an aftermarket exhaust/intake for the throatier sound. Ive done lots of searching on here and the BMW PE is the most popular it seems. Does anyone in the Fairfax area have it on their 330i? Id be very interested in hearing it.

Thanks.

The manual and sport package were non-negotiables. Gotta love that snickety click from the manual. My dad has the steptronic and says its the only way to go, for an old guy. Thats coming from someone who had a manual until I was a junior in HS (he was like 44ish). Ill be doing my part to 'save the manuals.'

Come on ... sport package, 6 MT on a naturally aspirated inline 6? Doesn't get more BMW than that.

Nice 330i. Very clean and obviously well maintained. Welcome to the club.

Whats funny is it seems the majority of people on this board are your children's age! Im older than that but not by much.

Whats also crazy is how so many young 20 somethings can afford such nice cars! Im very jealous. It took both me and my wife saving to get my car. Good for them though (if they can actually afford them).

Good to know there are some other "older" guys on this forum....most of the guys I meet off this forum are under the age of 25....
