50,350 miles....and the $%#@'s hitting the fan

Hey guys, finally got a time to write this up. Before I do through his some history on the car (Knew the previous owner and hes a member on here).

Been running a procede since about 5k miles
Oil changed every 7.5k
Sparkplugs changed every 25K
Pervious owner had it full bolt on till about 28k when he took everything off and sold car (to me)
Mods on the car are procede v5, pwm meth kit, afe dci, vanguard exhast, plus the suspension mods in sig.

Everything had been going good till about 2k miles ago. Very rarely when I would go WOT (with meth) the car would throw a DSC ABS "control systems" code. No cut out of power, no symptoms, it would go away instantly and not come back. Scanned and didn't find anything so thought nothing of it, just a random code with the tune.

Well sunday, literally 2 days after I hit 50k miles I was driving back to school. I get out of town 30 mins and the same code comes up, except this time not a full throttle. It clears and then 5 minutes later is back, this time though the dashboard lit up like a christmas tree. ABS DCS control systems, Passenger Restraint system malfunction, wipers randomly came on, and steering wheel audio controls didn't work. I'm like oh SHIT.

It does that the next 3 hours on the way to school. Google some stuff and it looks like a bad battery could be causing it, so i got to autozone and check it. Nope battery's good. SHIT. Next I reset all the firmware on the procede. Nope. Then i pull the procede out. NOPE does the same thing as soon as I pull out of my garage. Take it to BMW of NWA and let them do a diagnostic ($125 ). They say this on work order:

"Either a BUS is being shorted out or DSC control unit is bringdown BUS line. Electrical. Will need more diag time to tell 2 hrs. to start $247"

again HOLY SHITTT :smash :

I tell them not to do anything else, as the car is drivable and need it to get around. Taking it home tomorrow and going to go drop it off at Roadshow bmw in memphis so its alot closer to home. Issue just kinda came out of the blue and it would happen RIGHT AFTER I get out warrenty. It doesn't really seem like its anything to do with the mods, seems like something just decided to take a shit. Anyone have any thoughts? I'll try to keep this updated incase anyone else has a similar problem

I think these cars are all pre-programmed to fail after warranty! I was 2k over warranty, had alternator, power steering pump, tensionor pulleys, hpfp, 1 angel eye, 1 fog light and a dash light all fail in a matter of 2 months!! With labor, almost $7000!!! Ahhhh

Idk about that, but i think they are definitely engineered with the 50k mile number in mind
