pcockley,
Back when Rick first started looking at the V1 I sent him a RHD vent so he could make a RHD version. After about 12 months I finally received RHD gauge #1 Position is not ideal, but it's much better than a ghetto pillar mounted gauge (which I had @ first). It looks stock, even the $tealership find it hard to believe how integrated it is. Rick spent a lot of time getting the colour correct in the lighting. Lack of the vent slider (or on/off for the airflow) is a non-issue IMHO, but some might be anal about it. The plastic fins on the vent are a little fragile, one of my mates broke 1 off but they would be easily glued back. V2 seems to have rectified this with a different material. I only use it to record peak boost. Any more involved data logging is done on the laptop, and now we get so much info on the dash I don't really consider Canbus integration that important, but others might. It's also been handy recording vacuum as the vacuum line on the intake manifold is easily broken by dodgy $tealership monkey's when changing out HPFP's so periodically it needs a bit of plastic glue to reattach (I'm too tight to buy an new manifold, or tap the hole and put a brass fitting on). In summary it's a great piece of kit, useful, tasteful in it's appearance and does not significantly detract from the functionality of the vent in the car. Cheers, S

Ohh i didn't realise I'd lose the on off as well!!! Thats a deal breaker sorry. At the end of the day I was considering getting a little net book that would fit inside the glove box and leave it plugged in to the usb cable. I can get a net book for well under 300 so I think thats the plan. Thanks for the info though
