To avoid errors its best to purchase a canbus HID system. A generic HID kit will likely throw errors and may not even turn on.

Above is 3000K Angel eyes (halogen) with 4300K Fogs HID

Below is 3000K Fog in halogen
I find the OEM halogen fogs to be extremely weak. Jeff, in terms of function/depth, are the HPB 4300 HID fogs a big improvement over stock? They certainly look great in the above photo.

I with you....matching the headlights just looks better to me. I'll sacrifice function for looks.

I think this picture speaks for itself. There is a considerable improvement.

you're NOT the only one. HPB 4300 HID ftw! I installed mine over 4 months ago and it's been one of my fav upgrades (not just a mod). hope this helps.

'big improvement' is an understatement. besides the dopes with blue HIDs in the raised monster trucks and escalades, I would bet that I have one of the brightest setups on the road in the area. it's a very clean and classy look. the oem halogens are better than the fogs on a mini, but not much better...heh

no sacrificing function if u go with these 4300k. Jeff has great pics above. hpb = easy install too.

search this forum for a thread with quite a few pics of other members that have installed this same setup. there's a shot or 2 of mine in there.

Depending on how the picture is taken:

or one with reduced exposure to grasp the angel eyes

The angel eyes are the hardest to capture on a simple point and shoot as they tend to glare:

But make some adjustments and it can look like this:
