Do these symptoms go with a bad injector?
So I’m noticing a few things that are making me wonder if I might have a faulty fuel injector that could be causing some other problems I am having.
1. Erratic / slight stumble at idle – even with brand new spark plugs 2. Engine feels a little sluggish and doesn’t rev as freely as normal on any map 3. Feel of slight vibration / weakness under load 4. Fuel mixture control codes thrown - 10720 and 10721 5. After the car sits for about 30-40 minutes there is definitely a noticeable fuel smell when I go to get in the car. Not after it sits all day (the fuel would have evaporated by then right?) and not if I drive it within 5-10 minutes or so 6. Slightly longer cranks happening at startup 7. 11566 Angle of throttle valve- intake pipe underpressure, correlation code (one time) Would any / all / some of these things make sense if an injector were leaking / faulty? If so, is there a way to tell with the engine cover off, or a way to tell with a BT cable? |
