I waited outside of the mall for a PS3 when it came out and when it hit 8AM people started running as if a Godzilla is chasing them and I end up being at the end of the line and going home to sleep at 9AM.

It's actually a pretty terrible phone. Not only are you restricted to a single carrier, the phone cost far too much itself, there's no SDK for developers to make any good programs for it, the screen will get scratched and smudged like crazy.

It's just apple trying to whore the iPod concept futher. Their sh*tty platform sales are hurting the company pretty bad, like always. The iPod is/was the only thing keeping them afloat. They're trying to just buy their way into the media market with Jobs owning Disney/ABC alongside Apple. iTV is a joke as well.

Never had any respect for Apple, especially considering their poor marketing tactics. Calling the Windows platform flawed and terrible? What a laugh considering ~85-90% of the world's computing infrastructure is Windows. Not to mention the popularity of the windows platform in business, which the Apple market barely even nicks.

there won't be any massive wait. they are launching with 3 million of them. at the price, i wouldn't worry about it. every apple store and cingular store i have talked to said they can't give details but there will not be any supply issues at all. none whatsoever.

uhh... el wrongo. apple already said there are going to be TONS of third party applications, many available upon launch. where have you been brosef?

The phone is overpriced and the hype is overkill. They make the ipod separate from the cell phone for a reason.

It will still sell tons! Just you watch! They will be selling them on ebay. 3 million aint enough! It's Apple and there are tons of freaky Apple people that HAVE to have the newest and best thing from Apple just because it's Apple.
