Deperately need help.......
I just got my m3 replica bumper (335i sedan) but they said that since the bumper holes are centered, i need to get my mufflers and exhuast modified. So i went to the muffler shop (Dan's fast muffler) and they told me that if I take off my OEM exhuast, then the sound will be different. They also told me that there is a thing on my left exhaust that filters out my car sound and i have to take that off if i get a new exhuast that will fit m3 replica bumper.
My question is... will the sound be crappy? if i get it? will there is a difference in the perfomance wise? the muffler people quoted me for 550 bucks. |

theres a guy in this forum actually selling an exhaust setup just for your situation... "m3 quad" style for those who get an m3 rear bumper. just buy his and save urself a couple hundred bucks. plus his comes with an epic box. its in the classifieds section.
and yes the exhaust will now sound different since you cant keep the stock mufflers. u need to get new mufflers and piping to make it fit the m3 rear bumper. |

its in the classified section of the forum. like i said. i just checked again, but realized its from a 328 instead of a 335. since its only the back half of the exhaust system, not sure how diff/same the 328/335 is at that point... might want to ask the other guys if the shop can get it to fit.
