City Visions Angel Eyes from E92-Lighting not matching...

Hi all,

I just purchased and installed the City Vision Angel Eyes solution for my 2011 E90 LCI but the 2 rings don't match at all. The outer ring is very blue and the inner ring is white with hints of blue.

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue? I have searched the forums and the ones I have seen matched pretty well. I am not sure what is wrong. Should I go with a different solution? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

My camera phone sucks, not sure how well you can see it. But the outer ring is blue, while the inner ring is white...

The rings are different sizes and have slightly different optical properties. The LED units have identical LEDs on each side, but the lucite rings don't illuminate equally.

I just bought some from e92lighting a few weeks ago and have this same result. I have 08 e92, inner rings look pretty good, not super bright but outer rings almost no light at all. Also, did you have an extra connector on the harness that you did not use, I asked before installing and was told this was the right one and just not to connect one of the connectors??

Yup, I asked the same question regarding the extra connector...the extra wire is for 2007 E92 coupes, so we are fine!

How do you like them so far? Did you match with cornering lights and fogs? Which ones did you get?

I am really happy with the color of the light output, but not the difference in output in the two rings or the brightness .. would be 100% satisfied if the outer rings were exactly the same as the inner rings. I have led turn signals which are fairly bright (blueish white) so basically looks like the outer rings are not lit up at all. Still have the stock hid bulb color and installed gp thunder fog light bulbs. May consider upgrade to LUX for the AE's eventually but don't think its worth more money since already have the city vision installed.

LUX H8 V3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> City Vision...design is completely different and color/intensity is much better.
