I'd google search on ways to remove it. That's what I did anytime I got a virus before I went to a Mac.

If it comes down to it, you might have to wipe the computer and start back from scratch.

All you can do is try to track down the virus and delete it, so I would get Microsoft security essentials:free and does the job. If that still doesn't work then idk.

Don't listen to Apple boys, download malwarebytes and put it on a jump drive. Reboot to safe mode, If SM with networking doesn't work just do simple safe mode. Run the full scan using the jump drive, if it stops scanning do the short scan, remove, reboot, and run full scan again.

You're going to have to download MWB on another computer though, and put the software on a jump drive.

Virus' have never been "simple", These days they will completely stop you from using the computer, or the computer from starting.

This is EXACTLY why I will never own a PC again. Like bro that sounds like such a hassle and when doing this other problem are probably going to occur somewhere. Even simple ones like an error on the persons part that's doing this, its SO fucking annoying, i actually can't stand trying to fix technology, I don't like it and it fuckin hates me.

They used to be way worse; it seems like on Windows 98; Viruses were the norm. There was so much malware in those early days and few ways to fight it that it was ridicoulous; same with pop ads and ads in general.

If you are unable to do it yourself, send me a DM, because of my work I have a list of techs here in Albuquerque who can do it for you, I also have the list of "computer techs" to avoid

+1 on Microsoft Security Essentials. It's legit.

My school now actually requires computers to have it if you want to use their network.

Keep your macs...there's a reason they're only 5.2% market share. And that's an all time high for them
