I would if I was in Bradenton visiting my parents. A common spot for a boost leak is the vacuum hose going to the the first waste gate. They rub against the cylinder head and tear sometimes. Another spot are the vacuum hoses that run along the expansion tank, they can be kinked. If not possibly a waste gate valve it out of spec.

Thanks, ill pull off the engine cover and trace the lines to see if I find any faults. Let me know when next your in Bradenton, hopefully ill have this fixed by then.

I also have a boost leak, we should both try to fix it at the same time lol

My boost leak has seemed to stop throwing codes recently though, which is really weird.

sure i would be down, im tired of cursing by myself in the garage.

so far the I only got one code once, 30FF, and that was when it first started happening.

Update with progress:

It been raining all day but I hit 6psi a couple times on the stock map with out going WOT, so that's promising.

Been code free for a couple of days now and still getting good boost numbers on the stock map. I'm going going to hold off on running anything more until I get my boost leak tester.

Dude that would be awesome, unfortunately I work retail and this week and next are going to way to busy for me to try and setup time meet. I wouldn't want to setup something and have to cancel it.

I still wouldn't mind a hand to do a proper boost leak test or to just meet up after the holiday rush.

Good news I was able to boost up to ~15 -16 psi 3 times back to back yesterday.
